All the info you need at a glance before the timer runs out.

  1. BATTLE VIEW

    Damage calculations

Every move on the field shows its damage into each opposing Pokémon, with a KO verdict and the full damage range. See which hits your Pokémon survive, and which of your attacks knock theirs out.

    • Both directions. Your attacks and theirs, for all four Pokémon on the field.
    • The field counts. Weather, terrain, screens, stat changes, items and abilities are applied as you set them.
    • Click any result for the chance to KO and the exact item, ability and EV spread it assumed.
Battle View in rain: Incineroar and Sneasler against Pelipper and Basculegion, each move showing its damage into both opposing Pokémon, such as Wave Crash at 286% OHKO on Incineroar
  2. BATTLE VIEW

    Pokémon cards

Each opposing Pokémon starts with the set most players run: moves, item, ability and EV spread, ranked by usage. Update the card as the battle reveals more and every number on the board follows.

    • Confirm what you see. Mark a move as seen, or scout one they surprised you with.
    • Item and ability odds stay on the card until they're revealed, so you know what's confirmed and what's a guess.
    • Mega Evolve from the card and its stats, ability and every damage number switch to the Mega form.

About the developer

Although being entirely new to Pokémon, I decided to pick up Champions when it launched earlier this year. Being a long time watcher of Wolfe Glick videos I was a bit… overconfident when it came to battling. I was initially overwhelmed by the amount of information a player is expected to hold in their head mid-battle and found myself losing to Pokémon and strategies I had no experience with.

I simply wanted something that put move, ability, and damage calculation information in front of me during battle so I could make more informed decisions about the opponent instead of just guessing. As a graduate student with a background in software engineering, this idea eventually grew into the full web app you're using now! I hope that you find this tool useful whether you're a new player like me or a long time veteran.

I'm grateful to everyone who has given it a try. I am improving it constantly so your feedback is greatly appreciated and genuinely makes a difference! If you have ideas for improvements, bug fixes, or new features I'd love to hear from you at [email protected].
